Nayapul

Nayapul (2070m) is one of the primary starting points for trekkers for many treks including Poon Hill Trek, the Annapurna Sanctuary trek or the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Nayapul is around 45 minutes drive from Pokhara. It consists of a number of roadside stalls as well as restaurants. It also has the Annapurna Conservation Area Checkpoint where trekking permits are checked. If you are thinking of staying in the area nearby, Birethanti is a preferred choice by many visitors.
