Lumle

Lumle is a small village of Annapurna Rural Municipality also known as the Poetry village. It is the place which receives the highest rainfall of all of Nepal. Public and private vehicles to Lumle are found from Pokhara. About an hour drive from Pokhara takes you to the village having settled in houses that are historical in nature. Nayapul is one of the major attractions of Lumle. It is the beginning point for many trekking routes of the Annapurna region including Annapurna Base Camp trek, Ghorepani PoonHill trek, etc. A stunning view of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, Mt. Dhaulagiri can be enjoyed from Lumle. It is majorly populated by Gurung inhabitants. So, authentic Gurung culture can be experienced when in Lumle.
