Annapurna Marathon

Annapurna Marathon is conducted as a part of Annapurna Century Festival with an aim to promote the tourism of the Annapurna Region. In the second festival, the route of the Marathon was scheduled to start from the Annapurna Base Camp, Bagar, Deurali, Himalaya, Dovan, Sinuwa, Bhanuwa, Chhomrong, Tandapaani, Bhainsikharka and finally end at Ghandruk. However, the first two editions of the program had to be postponed due to Covid Pandemic and unfavorable circumstances. The third edition of Annapurna Marathon is going to be held from Annapurna Base Camp to Ghandruk covering a distance of 142.195 km. The third edition of the marathon is scheduled to take place in May, 2023. 
The Mardi route is the next route for the Annapurna Marathon.
