The hidden lake is situated at an altitude of 4250 m. It is one of the newly opened trails in the Annapurna region. The glacier hidden lake offers a scenic view of Annapurna, Machapuchare, Gangapurna, and Hiunchuli. There are various routes to reach the hidden lake. The most common route is through Ghandruk village. The route will look like Ghandruk - Tadapani - Dobato - Timuje Kharka - Porhe Kharka - Hidden Lake. The trail to Hidden Lake can be connected to the PoonHill Ghorepani trek as well. 

Along the trail of the hidden lake lies the cultural villages of the Annapurna region. Ghandruk, Tadapani and Chhomrong are a few popular villages on the way to the magnificent hidden lake. Gurung and Magar ethnicities are the major inhabitants here. The warm culture of the gurung community is what makes this trek a unique experience to the visitors. Not to forget the breathtaking views of Himalayas and spectacular landscape viewed from the trail. The marvelous views of Mountains- Annapurna south, Himchuli and Machhapuchhre can be seen from the trail. 

Spring and Autumn are considered to be the best seasons to trek to the Hidden lake. These seasons have great weather conditions. So, trekking beneath the clear blue sky alongside the beautiful high Himalayas is possible. In Winters, the snow along the trail can make an unforgettable experience, but there is a chance of heavy snowfall in higher altitudes. This might close the route to the destination point.
