Chhomrong is a village in the Annapurna area of Nepal and famous night stopover for those going to Annapurna sanctuary trek. It is a short destination that can be reached from central Pokhara. Public and private vehicles can be found from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda. From Jhinu it is a 1-2 hour uphill walk to reach Chhomrong village. Another way to reach Chhomrong is via Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, it is a 5 hour hike going up and down the valleys.

Chhomrong is a small village located inside the Annapurna Conservation Area. Chhomrong is one of the many traditional villages encountered in the Annapurna trail. However, it is one of the very few settlements established way before the proper trail in the region was developed. The Gurung community is the major inhabitants of this village. The village has guest houses, tea/ coffee shops, bookstore and offers a great view of Mount Machhapuchhre, the fish tail mountain. For trekkers, it is a great place to stay and indulge in nature.
